wednesday Night Bible Study

Our main event! We believe solid Biblical teaching in a community environment is indispensable to spiritual growth. Whether you are a life-long follower of Jesus or have never heard about Him before, if you have lived in Murray your whole life or come from the opposite end of the planet, whatever your background, you are welcome! We’d love to meet you and encourage you.

Each Wednesday night during MSU’s semester, we get together in the Curris Center Barkley Room (3rd floor) at 7 PM for this time of worship, teaching, and fellowship.

community

Sometimes you just need to hang out with good friends and good conversation. We make it a priority to provide a safe place to decompress from the daily grind. God has given us an awesome property right on the edge of campus across from the intramural fields to have game nights, fires, and other events. Keep an eye on the calendar for a heads-up!

Outreach

Jesus had a mission while he was here. His mission didn’t end; it got passed on to us! We get the honor of carrying on God’s mission to see lives changed! That may sound overwhelming, but there are lots of practical ways of being an ambassador for God at Murray State. The leaders here at 212 have years of experience sharing the goodness of God with people across the globe and teaching others how to do the same. We hold outreach events large and small throughout the school year and love to partner with other organizations doing the same.

Leadership development

We make it a priority at 212 to cultivate student leaders and to see them grow into the calling God has on their lives. To facilitate this process, we meet regularly with any students who aspire to be leaders in 212. At these meetings we do some more in depth teaching on Christian leadership, we pray together, cast vision and plan upcoming 212 events, often delegating important tasks directly to students. This is an open meeting available to any student in 212 wanting to get more involved with the ministry through service. Connect with us through the “Get Started” tab to find out more.

service

At 212 campus ministry we believe in service to others. So we make it a priority to connect regularly with other non-profit organizations, both in Murray and beyond, to help them in any way we can with our time, talents and treasures.

Trips

Sometimes it’s just good to get away. So we like to plan out some simple day trips during the semester to give students an opportunity to experience the rest of God, fellowship, build closer friendships with other Christians and experience the beauty of God’s creation.

conferences

We know the value of the school year. However, extended breaks from school offer an opportunity to focus on growing our relationship with God. Conferences provide a way to increase our spiritual temperature during these times. During winter and summer breaks, we take students to conferences to grow to the next level. Details and registrations become available as we near the end of the semester.
